Hi, I’m Erica.

I create pet portraits for people who know their pets are part of the family.

Some pets aren’t just little creatures that you feed and clean up after; some are soulmate pets. Bellamy was one of those. For me, but also for my whole family too.

We rescued Bellamy and Lola as feral kittens from a local barn. When they first came home, they were covered in fleas and ticks, but once we got them all cleaned up they were beautiful black and white kittens.

Bellamy was a true homebody cuddly cat (more like a dog really). He would come running from the garden when you called his name. He was so docile that we could literally pick him up and wear him like a scarf. He would always want a cuddle and would dribble so much that there would be a river of drool running down your legs.

Unfortunately, Lola passed away early. She was my very first pet portrait. Bellamy wailed, missing her. But we looked after him and continued to be our clingy cat-dog.

Bellamy was always there. He would sit on my lap, paws on my desk whilst I studied. When my mum was diagnosed with cancer, Bellamy would sleep every night in my bed like he knew I needed him there. Every time I came home to visit , Bellamy was always ready to come and say hello (unless he was asleep in the sun, or on the sofa, or deep in a flower bed.)

Pets like Bellamy are why I do this. Because pets aren’t just little creatures you bring into your home for fun. They're your best friend, your confidante, and your soulmate pet. I’m honoured I get to paint any one of them.

At Fuzzleduck, I specialize in creating affordable, personalized mini paintings that capture the true personality of your furry (or feathery or scaley) best friend.

I also paint  for the dogs at the RATS animal rescue kennel. The mini portraits that are gifted to their new owners, marking beginning for their family.

When I’m not painting I can be found nagging my husband to get a puppy, traveling around the world (and befriending the four-legged locals) and dancing to Taylor Swift in the kitchen.

Interested in celebrating your soulmate pet? Check out my gallery and see if I have the perfect mini memento for you. Your pet deserves their moment in their spotlight (even if they spend most of their time hogging your sofa!)
