Want to create your own unique pet art?
Great news! You can!
Through my guided workshops you’ll learn how to work with shape, colour and texture to create you own homage to your pet.
In the workshop we work through how to look at the image of your pet and sketch their likeness. You’ll learn how to work with watercolour paint to create different colours and textures. And unique tips and tricks will ensure you pull out their personality and make it your own!
I provide all materials needed, and well as some pre-sketched ‘cheat sheets’ for those extra tricky features. Meaning you can enjoy painting without any of the hassle.

Paws, Pours and Paints! At Hammered Hitchin
There’s no better way to spend a weekend than trying a new hobby and getting to fawn over your pet. My next painting workshop is at The Hamm, Hitchin. Enjoy their Continental Cafe Culture, and learn to paint your own pet.
We’ll set up at The Hamm and get painting. Working with watercolour paints and ink pens, we’ll try out some painting techniques and learn how to draw animal faces.
Once we’ve practised those skills, I’ll walk you through step-by-step how to paint your own pet from the first sketch to adding the tufts of fur and little details that make them them.
All materials, from paper and paints to cheat sheets and a goodie bag, are included. You just need to bring along a photo of your pet to paint from. (This can be on your phone or printed out - whatever works for you). For tips on a good pet photo, see my guide here. Absolutely no experience is needed as I will walk through everything step by step, and with art, there is no wrong way to draw something. You’ll leave with your finished portrait and some new painting skills to try out
So join us on April 12th, 1 pm - 3 pm and create a masterpiece (or a very cute, almost resemblance)!
