They’re cleaning, and then they freeze. That moment when all thoughts leave you cat’s brain, and they are left frozen in time waiting for their brain cells to catch up and claim a thought. Maybe that thought should be: let me put my tongue back in my mouth and close my legs. But alas, they cannot summon a single idea. So they stare at you, vacantly, for a worrying long amount of time. Will they even finish cleaning themself? Will the brain cells ever return? Will their tongue dry out? All important considerations, however, I cannot tell you what will happen.
Art print featuring a watercolour image of a grey tabby cat sitting, frozen mid-clean. Tongue out, legs spread wide with wide, gleaming eyes, captioned: “huh?”
Print of original hand-painted artwork
Designed, painted and printed in the UK
